About Chad Teven
Chad Teven - Professional Summary: A summa cum laude graduate of the University of Michigan with a Bachelor’s degree in Brain, Behavior, and Cognitive Science, Chad Teven relocated to Chicago, Illinois, to pursue his Doctor of Medicine from the Pritzker School of Medicine, University of Chicago. As he enters his final year of studies at the school, Chad Teven continues to maintain a busy schedule with responsibilities in his academic work, research fellowships, and Teaching Assistant duties at the school. In facilitating courses for first- and second-year medical students on topics such as clinical skills and the ethics of doctor-patient relationships, Chad Teven holds accountability for organizing review sessions and group discussions as well as offering feedback on performance in the classes.
During his time thus far at the University of Chicago, Chad Teven also served on the school’s Graduate Council as a representative from the Pritzker School of Medicine as well as Co-President of the Jewish Medical Student Association and President of the Plastic Surgery Interest Group. Chad Teven holds four publication credits to his name on subjects involving bone repairs and grafts, potential stem cell treatments, and carotid artery stenosis. A member of both the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and the Phi Beta Kappa Society, he also received the Best Paper Award by a Medical Student at the 2010 annual meeting of the Midwestern Association of Plastic Surgeons.
