Chad Brown was born in Manhattan, New York and raised in The Bronx, where he started to play poker in Italian cafes. As well as professional poker player, Chad Brown is also an actor and commentator on poker programs, based in Los Angeles, California. After moving to Los Angeles in 1990, he did some minor roles in TV series and films. His acting experience helped him to become presenter of the Ultimate Poker Challenge TV series. Chad Brown quickly realized that he could make more money at the tables than he could while acting in television series.
Chad Brow began his poker career when he discovered the legal poker rooms in southern California. Ever since then he has been playing in the biggest cash poker tournaments for fifteen years. Chad Brown is a well known player among the poker professionals and his total winnings exceed $2,300,000. He took part in many World Series of Poker tournaments, with a total of 22 money finishes. Chad Brown also appeared at the World Poker Tour and the European Poker Tour, where he made two final tables – one at each tournament. As well as playing in live tournaments, Chad Brown playes online too. He won the 2006 World Championship Of Online Poker - $5000 H.O.R.S.E. event, where he earned the sum of $223,125 and the tournament’s gold bracelet, beating 174 other players. His favourite place to play is the Bellagio hotel in Las Vegas, but he can also be found playing online in different internet poker circuits, by the screen name “ChadBrownPRO”. Currently, Chad Brown is number 3733 in the 2008 POY ranking.
Now-a-days aside from poker Chad Brown likes to spend his time playing baseball with friends and sometimes with ex-professionals from the baseball leagues.
