Dr. Cem Kinay transitioned into tourism while building his successful medical career in Austria. Dr. Cem Kinay’s first business, a yachting and sailing group based in Turkey, gained a solid customer base within its first years. After he sold his shares, Dr. Cem Kinay founded an all-inclusive charter tour operation, Gulet Touristik, the first of its kind in Austria. In 1990, while still managing Gulet Touristik, Dr. Cem Kinay embarked on a new venture with the establishment of Club Magic Life, offering all-inclusive tourist villages in sumptuous locales, including Turkey, Bulgaria, Egypt, Greece, Tunisia, Mexico, and the Caribbean. Under Dr. Cem Kinay’s helm, Gulet Touristik and Club Magic Life achieved considerable success; Gulet Touristik provided guided tours to over 500,000 travelers, and Club Magic Life catered to the needs of more than 450,000 guests. Dr. Cem Kinay received a “Man of the Year” award from Trend Magazine in 1997 for his accomplishments in the tourism industry.

Dr. Cem Kinay’s leading project serves as The O Property Collection’s $1 billion development investment. The year after he created The O Property Collection, Dr. Cem Kinay was honored with Austria’s “State Medal.”
