Carebear Preschool

Carebear Preschool provides a structured educational experience geared toward expanding a child’s imagination and grasp of fundamental skills. Offering an assortment of courses for children from two to five years old in the Downtown Ocotillo and Fulton Ranch areas of Chandler, Arizona, Carebear Preschool ensures that children gain the skills they need to excel in elementary school.

The curriculum at both locations prepares students to excel in a variety of disciplines later in their academic careers. Courses at Carebear Preschool focus on the essentials of elementary school, from math and science to Spanish and music. In the Spanish class, instructors teach vocabulary to small classes, guaranteeing individual attention to students. During math classes, students learn basic arithmetic. Carebear Preschool students learn science in a variety of ways, from studies of prehistoric life such as dinosaurs, to sand and water tables, nutrition, and classroom animal care.

As part of Carebear Preschool’s music curriculum, students learn instruments and singing. Carebear Preschool also incorporates music in other classes to keep students interested in learning. When not in class, students are given free time, where they can play with toys such as trains, dollhouses, puzzles, computers, and dinosaurs. This period gives Carebear Preschool students a chance to interact, share, and cooperate with one another. Clean-up time helps students learn organizational skills by picking up after themselves.

A three-time winner of the Best of Chandler Award in the Preschool category from the U.S. Local Business Association, Carebear Preschool has gained recognition for its innovative curriculum. In 2005, a contest sponsored by the SanTan Sun News named Carebear Preschool Best Preschool in the Chandler area.
