An alumnus of the University of Michigan, Dr. Camilla Hersh earned her Bachelor’s degree in biomedical science in 1976. After graduating from the institution’s medical school, Dr. Camilla Hersh completed an obstetrics and gynecology internship and residency at St. Joseph Mercy hospital, an affiliate of the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. For nearly two decades, Dr. Camilla Hersh has operated as the Medical Director of Virginia Women’s Health Associates, which she founded in 1992. A member of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG), Dr. Camilla Hersh possesses expertise in medical care using the innovative daVinci Surgical System. DaVinci procedures, also known as robot-assisted surgery, allow physicians to operate with minimal incisions. Recognizing her superior skill, the Washingtonian magazine has listed Dr. Camilla Hersh as a top doctor for every year since 2002. In 2009, Washington Family Magazine honored Dr. Camilla Hersh as a Top Physician. Northern Virginia Magazine has also named her as one of Northern Virginia's top doctors for 2011. At Virginia Cosmetic Laser and MediSpa, Dr. Camilla Hersh supervises a dedicated team specializing in anti-aging treatments, including skin rejuvenating treatments, hair removal services, laser light therapy for spider veins, and BOTOX Cosmetic injections. With a focus on overall wellness, the medispa also offers massage and reflexology.
