Burgos Kennels offers an array of services to take care of most any pet needs. Founded in 1992, Burgos Kennels is a leading pet center for dogs and cats. Burgos Kennels offers pet boarding, dog-training, breeding, and grooming services. Pet owners can take advantage of these services in the kennels’ large, shaded site on 30 acres of private property. Each separate indoor/outdoor kennel has over 100 square feet of area, providing a large space for pets to roam.
One of the primary services Burgos Kennels offers is dog training. Owner Ricardo Burgos has participated in competitive dog-training events for several years. During his years of competition, Burgos’ dogs have finished as high as third in the Schutzhund National Championships. The Schutzhund competition, which judges breeds such as German shepherds, rottweilers, and Doberman pinschers for their police-dog abilities, is often considered the toughest competition in which to place. Additionally, Ricardo Burgos has been selected as Vice Regional Champion many times throughout his career, with several different dogs. Only the top dog trainers receive this award, which is considered a great honor in the field. When Ricardo Burgos observes any new techniques in dog competitions, he adapts them and incorporates them into training at Burgos Kennels.
