A highly experienced physician, Dr. Bruce Scaff resides in Texas. Dr. Bruce Scaff serves as an ER physician with privileges at Southwest General Hospital in San Antonio, Hill Country Memorial Hospital in Fredericksburg, ETMC Athens in Athens, and Goodall-Witcher Healthcare Foundation Hospital in Clifton. Previously, Dr. Bruce Scaff oversaw a comprehensive family practice for more than 25 years. Initially focusing on pediatrics and obstetrics, Dr. Bruce Scaff delivered more than 1,500 babies and performed hundreds of cesarean sections, as well as a wide variety of other procedures related to obstetrics. As his practice evolved, Dr. Bruce Scaff gradually changed the focus of his practice, spending 10 years as a geriatrician and maintaining an extensive in-patient and nursing home practice. Dr. Bruce Scaff has worked extensively in hospice and nursing home care, serving as Medical Director for Meridian Manor Nursing Home, Valley Mills Nursing and Rehabilitation, Clifton Care Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, and the Fort Worth office of the American Hospice. Prior to his professional endeavors, Dr. Bruce Scaff attended the University of Texas at Arlington, then the University of Texas at Austin, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Zoology in 1977. Dr. Bruce Scaff then enrolled at Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas, where he earned his MD in 1981. Dr. Bruce Scaff subsequently completed his residency in Family Practice at Memorial Medical Center in the Corpus Christi Family Practice Residency Program, where he earned the position of Chief Resident. Dr. Bruce Scaff holds a Texas Medical License and certification from the American Board of Family Practice. Dr. Bruce Scaff has served as a Diplomat of the American Board of Family Practice and an Administrator in Texas of the Personal Assistance Services Agency. Dr. Bruce Scaff dedicates himself to community service, serving as President of the Clifton Education Foundation and a past member and President of Clifton Baseball and Sports for Youth, the Bosque County Conservatory of Fine Arts, and the Clifton ISD Board of Trustees. Actively involved in his profession, Dr. Bruce Scaff belongs to the American Academy of Family Physicians, the Texas Medical Association, the Texas Academy of Family Physicians, the American Medical Directors Association, and the Bosque-Hamilton County Medical Society.
