Bruce Maag organized conferences at the state, local, and national level on budget development, hiring, and fiscal oversight. NIFACP and Bruce Maag also implemented a national certification format for staff in Treatment Foster Care. SAFY of America, the Ohio Coalition of Foster Care Networks, and the Foster Family-Based Treatment Association also worked with Bruce Maag and NIFACP to raise their standards for youth and foster care. Over a career spanning decades, Bruce Maag has worked tirelessly to build a network linking organizations and institutions to provide Ohio youth the best opportunities for foster care, legal advocacy, and treatment. As the current Chief Executive Officer for International Phoenix Group, Bruce Maag directs the parent company of Phoenix Homes, only his latest endeavor offering new opportunities and improved care for the under-served. A resident of Delphos, Ohio, Bruce Maag connects with his community by attending St. Charles Catholic Church and coaching youth sports teams.
