Broderick Boxley - Professional Summary:

 

A dedicated educator, Broderick Boxley has committed himself to the leadership of students and teachers. With a background in test development, curriculum supervision, and school administration, Broderick Boxley shapes young minds and improves learning environments. He also mentors current and aspiring leaders.

He recently served as the Head of School for the innovative Princeton Charter School, located in Princeton, New Jersey. Broderick Boxley pushed character development at the school and instituted a banner that read “Inspire, Challenge, Support, Accomplish.” The school won recognition as a No Child Left Behind Blue Ribbon School, an award which designated it a model of excellence that exceeded standards and accountability.

Broderick Boxley attended The College of New Jersey for both his B.A. and M.A. degrees. He held various jobs in order to pay for his education. While at the college he acted as President of the Minority Mentoring Committee.

His time at New Jersey-based Educational Testing Service (ETS) involved working with several standards such as those developed by the Council of Chief State School Officers’ Interstate School Leader Licensure Consortium. During his time with ETS, Broderick Boxley visited hundreds of classrooms in order to gain perspective on how professional thinking relates to individual learning.

Broderick Boxley worked as a teacher at Lawrence High School in New Jersey, where he helped students in need by helping to develop an alternative education school. He also volunteered his time to coach soccer. After his position at Lawrence High, Broderick Boxley taught mathematics at Pennsauken High School.
