About Brett Coltman
Portland, Oregon, native Brett Coltman moved to Manhattan in 1993 to assume the position of Vice President of Software Development at MicroVideo Learning Systems, Inc., provider of software training products to corporate clients. Upon leaving MicroVideo, Brett Coltman started his own entrepreneurial venture when he co-founded a technology startup for which he also served as Chief Financial Officer. The company developed e-learning media programs for major clients including Prentice Hall and Goldman Sachs. Brett Coltman currently acts as Vice-President of Investments, Portfolio Manager, and Wealth Advisor at UBS Financial Services Inc., a company he joined in 2002.
In Portland, Brett Coltman attended Wilson High School, where he acted as Editor-in-Chief of the school newspaper, played varsity soccer, and ran track. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Communication at the University of Oregon in Eugene. From 2002 to 2003, he served as President of the New York Chapter of the University of Oregon Alumni Association.
Brett Coltman deeply believes in giving back on a community and global level. Mr. Coltman supports the charities Habitat for Humanity International, The Salvation Army, and Save the Children, an organization that aids families and children in need through enabling them to gain financial independence. In addition to his charitable work, Brett Coltman has coached soccer in various locations in Connecticut, including under-9 (U9) soccer in Wilton, under-12 (U12) and under-13 (U13) travel soccer in Westport, and under-13 (U13) and under-14 (U14) travel soccer in Darien.
