Bradley Jones also known as “Brad” is an Australian professional goalkeeper who was born on March 19, 1982 in Armadale, Perth.


In 2001, Bradley Jones won his first international cap when he was picked for the Australia U-20 side. A couple of years later, he was selected for the Australia U-23 national team and went on to make a total of six appearances for the side. On February 5, 2007, Bradley Jones got his first call for the senior national side to replace Mark Schwarzer for a friendly game. He made his first international start for the team on June 2, 2007, in its match against Uruguay. He was also named in the squad for the Socceroo's debut campaign in the 2007 Asian Cup.


Bradley Jones spent the early days of his professional football career with the youth team of Bayswater City SC in Western Australia. In 2000, he was signed by the English Premiership football team Middlesbrough. During the 2002-03 season, he was sent on brief loan spells to Stockport County and appeared in a game for it. This was followed by two more loan stints at Rotherham United and Blackpool in 2003. He made his first-team debut in the Football Association (FA) Cup third round game against Notts County in 2004. During the 2004-05 season, he was again sent to Blackpool on a brief loan spell. In the following season, Bradley Jones made an important Ruud van Nistelrooy penalty save, which helped his team level 0-0 against Manchester United. During his tenure at this club, from 2003 to 2005, he made a total of 17 appearances for the club.


In August 2006, Bradley Jones was a sent as a loan player to Sheffield Wednesday for a period of 3 months, where he made a total of 15 appearances during his tenure at this club.
