From 2008 to 2011, Bradford Jacob acted as Legal Counsel and Director of Contracts for Alstom Power Inc.’s North American operations in Richmond, Virginia. At Alstom Power, Mr. Jacob’s many duties included oversight of commercial and legal issues for retrofitting projects valued at more than $900 million. Bradford Jacob provided his analysis, negotiation, and management expertise to these many projects, which involved nuclear energy and fossil fuel sources.  

Prior to his work at Alstom Power, Bradford Jacob worked at Delta-T Corporation in Williamsburg, Virginia. As the firm's Senior Counsel and Director of Commercial Contracts, Mr. Jacob served as the lead negotiator for more than $2 billion in commercial contracts. He also functioned as a Project Manager with Delta-T, overseeing a $1 million commercial office renovation.

In 2003, Bradford Jacob launched East West Properties, LLC, a property acquisition company. As President of the firm, Mr. Jacob supervised the buying and selling of $3 million in properties facing foreclosure. He also performed title searches, negotiated leases, and managed renovations for various properties.

Apart from his professional responsibilities in the private sector, Bradford Jacob served for two years in the U.S. Army and six years in the U.S. Army Reserve. Mr. Jacob held a number of positions while serving his country, including Medical Claims Supervisor, Brigade Operations Officer, and Company Commander.

Bradford Jacob earned his Juris Doctor in 1993 from the University of Richmond’s T.C. Williams School of Law, and he joined the Virginia State Bar that same year. Mr. Jacob first practiced law with Midkiff & Hiner, PC, in Richmond, Virginia, before joining the legal teams at Sands, Anderson, Marks and Miller, PC, also in Richmond, and TaylorWalker PC in Norfolk.
