Another event in which Bob Slezak participated was the WPT No-Limit Hold’em Shooting Star – Season 4 held on March 3, 2006 at the Bay 101. Finishing twentieth in this event, he got away with $50,000 in cash. In the No-Limit Hold’em Event Orleans Open 2006 held on July 16, 2006, Bob Slezak won $640 and finished fourth.


Besides these major events, Bob Slezak had four impressive finishes between 2007 and 2008. On January 12, 2007, he outlasted many professional poker players to finish first in the No-Limit Hold’em at the World Poker Open – Season 5 and made live tournament earnings of $44,254. Following this event, there were a couple of wins the same year, with the highest cash win adding up to $429,114. Bob Slezak finished fifteenth in the No-Limit Hold’em Championship at the 38th Annual WSOP held on July 17, 2007. Later that year, he made an impressive first-place finish in the No-Limit Hold’em Main Event at the 1st Annual Horseshoe Poker Classic and walked home with $52,602. His most recent cash win was in 2008, bagging $25,090 in Event 54 – WSOP No-Limit Championship at the 39th World Series of Poker held at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino.
