About Me

Emphasizing integrity and compassion, Bishop Kenneth Ulmer serves as a senior pastor and teacher with the Faithful Central Bible Church in Inglewood, California. For the past 32 years, he has focused on “building champions for divine deployment” and worked with people at various stages of life. Bishop Kenneth Ulmer also serves as the presiding bishop of the Johannesburg, South Africa-based Macedonia International Bible Fellowship and organizes the efforts of pastors throughout the United States and Africa.

After earning his B.A. in broadcasting and music from the University of Illinois, Dr. Ulmer was ordained at the Mount Moriah Missionary Baptist Church. He has pursued extensive seminary studies and completed an ecumenical course in liturgy and worship at Oxford University’s Magdalene College. Dr. Ulmer has been an adjunct professor at Pepperdine University and Biola University, and he also served on the board of directors at the latter institution. He authored several books, including The Anatomy of God and A New Thing: A Reflection on the Full Gospel Baptist Movement.
