Billy Bell was Communications Officer for BP Chemicals in Hull for eight years before leaving to set up Billy Bell Limited. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations and holds a MA in Social History.

 Billy Bell - Interests:    

 

In my youth I was a keen participant in Rugby Union. I now confine my rugby interests to spectating at both codes of rugby and enjoy walking, reading and swimming. I am the recent proud owner of a West Highland White Terrier pup and am thoroughly enjoying watching him adapt as he grows. The lion's share of my leisure time in recent years has been involved in underpinning my knowledge of public relations and communications with a sound theoretical base. Following the successful completion of my second degree, I completed a course in conversational French and gained the Advanced Certificate in Public Relations from the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) in 2003. In 2004 I was awarded the Diploma in Public Relations (CIPR), by Leeds Metropolitan University. Completion of this diploma enabled me to attain full chartered membership of the Institute.

I am a governor at Ganton Special School, in Hull, and am the school's responsible governor for special needs.
