The founder and CEO of Howatt HR Consulting Inc., Dr. Bill Howatt utilizes more than two decades of research to develop tools that guide businesses and professionals toward lasting growth and improvement. TalOp™ is a methodology for aligning People (Talent) and Processes (Operations). Outside of his role as CEO of Howatt HR Consulting Inc., Dr. Bill Howatt remains actively involved in his profession through membership with organizations such as the Human Resources Association of Nova Scotia, International Coach Federation, the Canadian Association of Professional Speakers, and Canadian Guidance and Counseling Association. He also offers his insights as an author and has published a number of books, including The Human Services Counseling Toolbox: Theory, Development, Technique, and Resources; Mediation and Negotiation: A Manager’s Guide; An Employee’s Survival Guide for the 21st Century; 4 Elements for Reducing Stress in the Workplace; and 9 Elements for Integrated Performance Management. He graduated from Acadia University in Wolfville, Nova Scotia, and completed his postdoctoral research at the Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior at the University of California, Los Angeles.
