After college, Bill Deakins began his career in the stock market, swiftly developing his philosophy of trading based on the principles of hard work, informed boldness, and tenacity. After a few years, he joined Centennial Ventures, Ltd. as a Senior Vice President of Trading. In this position, Bill Deakins held responsibility for training novice members of the financial industry, as well as research and risk control. He enjoyed the success of his students, with two out of five having achieved a place among elite traders.
Four years ago, Bill Deakins founded Candlestick Trading Partners, a financial company based in Dobbs Ferry, New York. As a Partner, he educates short-term traders on how to analyze candlestick charts to detect potentially fruitful trades. This type of chart can be traced back to Japanese rice traders, who developed a system of data organization to track their businesses. Bill Deakins trains traders on how to use candlestick charts to examine the footprints of large transactions, following the wisdom of Steve Nison, the “father of candlestick trading.”
