About Bill Ctibor
Bill Ctibor - Professional Summary:
Noted music educator and public school teacher Bill Ctibor most recently served Mesa Public Schools in Mesa, Arizona, as a Curriculum Specialist for the departments of Distance Learning and Correspondence. In his position as a Curriculum Specialist, Bill Ctibor played a direct role in assisting Mesa Public Schools with making changes and modifications to various aspects of course curricula in order to address the requirements of the state of Arizona and federal regulations. Prior to working with the Distance Learning and Correspondence Departments, Mr. Ctibor served for more than 25 years as an English Instructor at two Arizona institutions of public education, Paradise Valley High School and Mesa Public Schools.
Over the course of his career as an English Instructor and Curriculum Specialist, Bill Ctibor received a number of recognitions and accolades, including a 2002 Fulbright Scholarship to Japan, a 1997 Cuthbert-Douglas Scholarship to England, and a 1972 Freedom Foundation at Valley Forge medal. He also holds a number of professional teaching certificates for both K-12 and 7-12 education. These include an Arizona Secondary English Education certificate, an Arizona Physical Education certificate, and numerous others. Bill Ctibor possesses a Master of Secondary Education degree from Arizona State University and earned other degrees at California State University, Fullerton, and Cerritos College. Prior to pursuing a career in education, Mr. Ctibor served the United States Navy in Viet Nam from 1968 to 1970.
