About Bev Stayart
Bev Stayart has served as CFO and Director of Business Development for Stayart Law Offices, an Elkhorn, Wisconsin law firm, for nearly two decades. In this capacity, Bev Stayart coordinates the financial and marketing aspects of the firm. Bev Stayart oversees all legal research and evidentiary discovery, in addition to interfacing with both clients and attorneys.
Bev Stayart earned her M.B.A., majoring in finance and marketing, at the University of Chicago. Bev Stayart holds an undergraduate degree in English Literature from the University of Iowa.
A nature enthusiast, Bev Stayart takes pleasure in hiking, wildlife and bird watching, running, swimming, photography, and traveling. Bev Stayart is an avid reader. Bev Stayart enjoys the works of American authors Mark Twain, Edna St. Vincent Millay, Edgar Allan Poe, and Sara Teasdale, and English writers William Shakespeare and Matthew Arnold.
Bev Stayart enjoys researching the Civil War because her great-grandfather Thomas Fitzgerald, a Union soldier, was recruited in Wisconsin and fought in several notable battles. He was wounded on two occasions but survived the war. Bev Stayart is also interested in Native American history and culture. Bev Stayart is an experienced genealogist with a special interest in Native American ancestry.
Bev Stayart supports St. Joseph's Indian School, which benefits Lakota children in South Dakota through its dedication to education and preservation of Native American culture and heritage. Bev Stayart is a supporter of CARE-4 Funeral Motorcade for baby seals, World Farm Animals Day, the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society, Defenders of Wildlife, and the Humane Society of the United States. Furthermore, Bev Stayart demonstrates her commitment to shutting down puppy mills, preserving the wild horse population, and prohibiting the aerial shooting of wolves in the western United States through involvement in letter and email campaigns, as well as protests.
