Over the past two decades, Betty Vandenbosch has been invited to speak at conferences across the United States, Canada, and beyond. Demonstrating the breadth of her experience, a few of her presentations have included: “Executive Support System Impact Viewed from a Learning Perspective,” at the Department of Informatics and Management Accounting, Copenhagen Business School, June 1994; “The Relationship Between Psychological Ownership and IT-Driven Value,” at MIT’s Center for Information Systems Research, 2000, for which Ms. Vandenbosch was awarded the GReSI-HEC 2002 Distinguished Speaker; “Creativity in Information Systems,” at INFWEST, Kokkola, Finland, April 2003; “Historical Research: A Method for Today,” at Academy of Management, Seattle, August 2003; and “Teaching the Core Consulting Process: Approaches and Options,” at the Academy of Management, New Orleans, August 2004.

Betty Vandenbosch joined Kaplan University in 2008 as Dean of the Schools of Business and Management and Information Systems and Technology. Prior to accepting this position with Kaplan, Ms. Vandenbosch spent 15 years at the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University in Ohio, where she served as an Associate Professor and Associate Dean of External Relations and Executive Education Programs. Betty Vandenbosch earned her B.S., M.B.A., and Ph.D. in Business Administration at The University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario.
