Although he is now a prominent arts patron with a rich appreciation, it is just a fact that Baryn Futa wasn’t exactly born with such a deep appreciation for the fine arts. The beginnings of his artist’s soul actually came after he retired, when he began working with the Denver Art Museum.
It was in that position that he began to appreciate the vital importance the arts play in every society and no one was more surprised than he that he felt such a deep attraction to the art world and its profound importance to preserving society and culture. During his time at the DAM, he attended art fairs and museum exhibitions and anything else he could find to satisfy his craving for more.
Thankfully, Baryn Futa realized that, while nearly everyone has an appreciation for the arts on some level, few are in a position to support the arts to the extent that is needed. It is that reality that has caused him to take on as much of that responsibility that he could. To his great surprise, he has come to realize that art is a great cause that benefits society, but it is also a profitable and useful investment.
