Through his work with planning committees, Barry Bohmueller develops community events to encourage civic involvement, and he monitors legislative changes that may affect planning commission initiatives. As the Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Towamencin Volunteer Fire Company, Barry Bohmueller further ensures the safety of his community. Barry Bohmueller’s responsibilities include conducting board meetings and helping the fire company meet its goals. Reaching out to the community plays a big part in Barry Bohmueller’s role, and he regularly creates programs to teach citizens about fire safety. Other community groups Barry Bohmueller devotes his time to include the Northern Montgomery County Drug & Alcohol Prevention Task Force, North Penn Chamber of Commerce, United Way Worldwide, the American Heart Association, Inc., and the YMCA.
