A respected cardiologist, Dr. Azamuddin Khaja has published extensively in medical journals. He co-authored “Outcomes in Patients with Abnormal Myocardial Perfusion Imaging and Normal Coronary Angiogram” in The Journal of Nuclear Medicine and “A Case of Aortic Dissection in a Cocaine Abuser: A Case Report and Review of Literature” in Cases Journal. In addition, Dr. Azamuddin Khaja co-wrote “Cardiac Safety of the Conducted Energy Weapon Devices in Pigs and Their Effect on Pacemaker Function” in The American Journal of Emergency Medicine. Board certified in Internal medicine, General Vascular Medicine, Interventional Cardiology, and Clinical Cardiology, Dr. Azamuddin Khaja has also taken the Nuclear Medicine (CBNC) and Endovascular Medicine boards. In addition, Dr. Azamuddin Khaja has acquired Level II Training in Nuclear Medicine and Echocardiography, possessing certification in ASD/PFO closure. Licensed to practice medicine in Missouri, Iowa, Ohio, and Pennsylvania. During training , Dr. Azamuddin Khaja shared his skills at medical centers in Missouri and Iowa prior to improvising Radial Catheterization skills at CARE Hospitals in Hyderabad, India, his hometown. Subsequently, he joined Skaggs Regional Medical Center in Branson, Missouri, where he conducted interventional cardiology procedures. Dr. Azamuddin Khaja practices comprehensive cardiovascular medicine, providing endovascular treatments for patients with peripheral arterial and coronary diseases. Dr. Azamuddin Khaja assisted the Royal College of UK in conducting the MRCP Examination, serving as Chief Resident at UPMC McKeesport, an acute care community hospital. He also became resident representative at UPMC Health System-GME and a member of the Acute Coronary Syndrome Quality review committee at the University of Missouri. Dr. Azamuddin Khaja volunteered for a charitable trust in India, as well as for a polio eradication program in rural India. In the future, he plans to offer free services to medical camps abroad. In addition to pursuing his professional endeavors, Dr. Azamuddin Khaja enjoys spending time with his family, playing tennis and cricket, traveling, and working out.
