Jan 2009 to present INDIA - COO Steria India & head of India Domestic Business
As Chief Operating Officer for India, I encompass responsibility for 6,000 employees over 3 sites in India, providing the group offshore platform for Steria Group. Since 2010, I’m leading the development of the India domestic market.
Jan 2006 – Dec 2008 UK - Government BU Director (UK) and OPS&Q director
As UK Operations & Quality Director, I held full responsibility for pre-sales, delivery & quality service for the UK & India Operations, plus overall Risk management & Auditing for the Steria Group.
The acquisition of Xansa by Steria gave me the opportunity to lead the strategic company process integration program within 1 year achieving full use of common processes.
As Public services Business Unit Sector Director, I had the responsibility of the turnaround & successful delivery of the largest contract in the history of the Steria Group – the National Offender Management Service, with a team of over 500 employees on a contract with a turnover of over £100M per annum. During this time, other successful new business opportunities have been developed through a personal involvement, valued at circa £250M with the Ministry of Justice. Also, I was responsible for overall Control and Delivery of Public Service Projects, with administration of some 500 project related personnel. The portfolio included contracts with local Government, Police & all projects within Northern Ireland.
Jan 2000 to Dec 2005 CEO Steria Asia (south East Asia)
As CEO Asia for Steria I established and managed the P&L of the business in Asia where there was no presence. We broke even in the second year of operation to make Steria Asia profitable and expanded the business into difficult markets. Our Singapore office has been created from scratch leading to the set up of Kuala Lumpur & Hong Kong Subsidiary offices, focusing mainly in innovative transportation projects contributing to building an image of excellence for Steria, exceeding customer’s expectations and ensuring quality of delivery.
1998 to 2000 International Business Development Director (France)
I was assigned to develop and grow Steria International Transportation business using my business acumen, expertise and experience in growing the transport and utilities sectors, by building the right consortia (of partners & technical professionals) in countries such as, but not limited to, North Africa, South America, Middle East, and Asia. Of particular note, during this period, we were awarded 2 major contracts in Singapore with the Land Transport Authority for the road traffic management and the maintenance system for the North East Line.

Business Development and Project Director/Manager
- A Project Management role and Business Development role, with responsibility for designated contracts related to Transportation & Utilities projects as follows: Meteor Line in Paris (for the RATP); Real time supervision system and Data management. Intelligent Business (La Vilette in France, Ministry of home affair in Saudi Arabia …); Electrical Dispatching (Brazil, Tunisia, Morocco …); Nuclear Power Plant (Palier N4 for EDF); Metro line in Singapore (for LTA).
The above projects were either based in France or internationally, between 2 to 4 years in duration and with teams of up to 50 engineers. My responsibilities included the budget, schedule, customer relations in international and French environments.
