Arnold Mvuemba is a professional football player who was born on January 28, 1985 in Alençon, France.


In 2005, Arnold Mvuemba got a call to join the France U-21 team. He was a member of the squad that represented France at the 2005 Toulon Under-21 tournament, where they defeated Portugal in the final to win the title. Arnold Mvuemba was named as the ‘Player of the Tournament’ for his spectacular performance at the tournament.


Arnold Mvuemba began his professional football career by playing for the French football club, Rennes as a midfielder in 2003. During his stint at the club, he has made a total of 33 appearances and scored once. In January 2007, he went to play for Portsmouth on loan and represented the team until May 2007. On February 25, 2007, he made his debut for the club in their game against Blackburn Rovers, where he came in as a substitute for Pedro Mendes. Following his debut, he went on to play seven games for the club and scored his first Premier League goal on April 9, 2007 in their playoff against Watford. During the summer of 2007, Portsmouth signed him for three-year contract after his impressive performances at the club during hid loan spell. Arnold Mvuemba is a versatile player and has proved to be handy as central midfielder or winger for Portsmouth.
