During the 2010 Deepwater Horizon oil spill, also known as the BP oil spill, Aquamarina Twin Rivers offered assistance to boat owners whose vessels risked damage while docked in the Gulf of Mexico. Lauderdale without requesting long-term lease commitments from boat owners.
