Angelo Consiglio, MD, is the owner and acting physician at Allergy, Ear, Nose & Throat, Ltd., which is located in Marathon, Florida. There he treats patients who are experiencing problems related to the head and neck. Dr. Angelo Consiglio opened the practice in 2010 after relocating from St. Charles, Illinois, where he ran a similar practice. Concurrently, Dr. Consiglio functions as the Area Representative of Southwest Florida for Golden Heart Senior Care. This organization is dedicated to providing elderly community members with non-medical care services in their homes and also offers assisted living placement.
An active member of his professional community, Dr. Angelo Consiglio belongs to many organizations, including the American Academy of Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery, the Foundation for Allergy Care and Treatment, the Florida Medical Association, the Monroe County Medical Society, and the International Association of Physicians in Aesthetic Medicine. Dr. Angelo Consiglio has served as a clinical assistant professor at Loyola University Medical Center since 1989. He is currently affiliated with several hospitals, including Fishermen’s Hospital in Marathon, Florida, Mount Sinai Hospital in Chicago, Illinois, the Valley Surgery Center in St. Charles, Illinois, and the Hinsdale Surgery Center in Hinsdale, Illinois. Until 2005, Dr. Consiglio was affiliated with Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield, Illinois, Delnor Community Hospital in Geneva, Illinois, and Edward Hospital in Naperville, Illinois.
Over the course of his career, Angelo Consiglio, MD, has authored several research papers that have been published by the Ear Nose and Throat Journal and the National Cancer Institute. He has also delivered many medical presentations on such topics as laryngeal trauma, salivary gland tumors, malignant melanomas of the head and neck, and smell and taste disorders.
