Andy Smith - A Personal & Professional Summary:
As co-director of Corkscrew Events, I spent 6 years as a member of Her Majesty’s armed forces before joining the corporate world in the telecommunications industry, where I worked in the television studios of a multi national telecoms company.
I have over 9 years experience in events & hospitality, the highlight of which was spending 3 years in Australia in the hospitality industry.
With an HND in Illustration for Journalism, part of my role is the development & design of our website, invitations, delegate packs and Corkscrew Events’ marketing materials. Although often described as the quieter side of the partnership, I really enjoy networking and meeting our clients.
As my staff know I can easily be found on a weekend running around the rugby fields of Warwickshire & The West Midlands, it allows me to let off steam.
