Andy Philachack is a professional poker player from Garland, the United States of America. Before taking up poker as his profession, he was a chiropractor.

 His interest in poker began, when he started playing home games with his friends. He entered the international poker arena in 2005, when he played in the 6th Jack Binion World Poker Open (WPO)/World Poker Tour (WPT) Event Season 3 Tournament. Andy Philachack took part in Event 17 –No-Limit Hold'em and efficiently outperformed the 386 entrants of the event to get to the final table. He walked away with the runner-up title and $172,747 in prize money.


In 2007, he entered the 38th Annual World Series of Poker (WSOP) and played in Event 15 – No-Limit Hold'em. In the final table, he entered heads-up confrontation with Phil Hellmuth from the United States, who was the winner of eleven WSOP bracelets. For his impressive second-place finish in the event, Andy Philachack took home prize money worth $394,594.


After being a bridesmaid for quite some time, Andy Philachack finally took the plunge in the Harrah’s New Orleans Winter Bayou Poker Challenge-World Series of Poker (WSOP) Circuit Event. He participated in Event 10 - WSOP Circuit No-Limit Hold'em Championship and outlasted all the 160 entrants. In the final table, he entered into a heads-up confrontation with Josh Arieh of United States, who had previously won a WSOP bracelet. Inspite of tough competition and Josh Arieh’s aggressive play, Andy Philachack finished first and won his $247,860 in prize money and a shiny WSOPC ring.


In April 2008, Andy Philachack participated in the Five Star World Classic Poker Classic/WPT World Championship-Season 6 and outlasted significant number of players to finish sixth and take home $21,985 in prize money in Event 4 – No-Limit Hold'em.


In one of his interviews, Andy Philachack acknowledges Kido Pham as his Confucius. With six cashes, Andy Philachack has made total live winnings worth $845,911.
