Andrew Waite - Professional Summary:    

 

Self Employed Marketing Consultant assisted Professional Trade Associations in developing a range of training programmes for their staff.

Joined a private school as Marketing Manager to develop new computer department and further English Langauge classes.

Progressed to Westminster Adult Education Service as Community Co-ordinator for SureStart Local Programme in Central Westminster.

Promoted to Employment Partnership Manager covering Central & North Westminster, still working for parents of SureStart Local Programmes.

Eventually covering 12 Children's Centres, leading Employment & Education for parents.

Moved to Hertfordshire in order to reduce commuting applied for and gianed position of Children's Centre Development Manager for Central Watford & Oxhey

Established a new charity "Sunshine Children's Centre Charity" as Acting Chief Executive, forming a board of Trustees to deliver a project called "Parents into Work".

Applied for the position of Chief Executive Officer and began working exclusively for the charity.

 

 

Andrew Waite - Professional Experience:    

 

Experiences in Teaching Adults and community development work. Based within a Health Centre for 5 years whilst in a multi-agency team, breaking down barriers for families to access services.

 

Andrew Waite - Education:  

 

Returned to college as a mature student to gain qualifications in Marketing, Computers, Communication, Quantitative Methods, etc. Worked part time in the evening in order to complete a course during the day for HND, then moved on to evening classes to complete the HNC. Took Microsoft Examinations whilst working for a private school. Gained Teaching Qualification whilst working at Westminster Adult Education Service, at the same time as gaining insight into Employment Law. Recently gained a level 7 qualification in Integrated Centre Leadership to professionally recognise the work I have been doing within the community as Children's Centre Development Manager.
