About Andrew Robl

Andrew Robl, also known as „Good2cu”, is a poker player, who is a member of the professional poker players group Ship It Holla Ballas. He spend his teenage years, watching each and every episode of the World Series of Poker with his father, thinking just how brilliant it is to make a living, while playing cards.

His first steps in the game were rather casual, with his friends in a $25-$50 No Limit with a $20 buy in. They used to play many nights in their basement and Andrew has always been hyper-competitive and could never stand losing. He then started reading books about poker at the local libraries, because he could not afford to buy them. And that made him the absolute neighborhood champion, which eventually helped him to make a small fortune, all from poker. After that, he spent most of his time in home games after school. Even then he was feeling like a winner – never accepted losing.

The first big live tournament he participated in was the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure in the Bahamas. He was lucky to be able to have endless conversations with top online players like Durrrr, John Little, Peter “Apathy” Jetten, and Shannon Shorr for a whole week. Later, he traveled to East Lansing and became one of the biggest winners at $5-$No Limit on Full Tilt. Until then, he had never had such an experience and that’s when he started realizing how many things he could do with his poker skills.

Even though the next few months weren’t as successful, as he wanted them to be, Andrew Robl did not give up. After a trip to Europe, he went back to Las Vegas, because he always wanted to live there – in the city that has no boring days. It was also his observation that almost all of his online friends wanted to go there as well. So since his moving to Vegas, his online game kept improving and eventually he found himself at the largest No Limit games offered online.

It is amazing how fast he has grown since those childish card games after school. It certainly was not an easy path for him, though, because he had to go through many difficult times. However, with the hard work he has put in his career and a decent amount of luck, he is now ready to put his efforts into becoming the champion he wants to be.
