About the company:
Aurora Investments, Ltd. was founded in 1994 as a private corporation by Andrew Liersch.  Since inception, the objective of Aurora has been to identify companies and regional funds world-wide that offer the greatest potential for growth within acceptable limits of risk.  The strategy has been to establish investment positions accordingly via the London, Frankfurt, Mexico and BM&F Bovespa exchanges.  The goal of Aurora is to maximize capital appreciation.

 

Aurora's initial investments were in companies and regional funds based in China, Germany and Great Brittan. Subsequent investments were made in companies located In Mexico and Brazil.

Consistent with the interests of its founder, Andrew Liersch, Aurora has supported exceptionally outstanding, results oriented, non-profit humanitarian organizations such as;  Nuestros Pequenos Hermanos International (NPHI), Our Little Brothers and Sisters, Father Wasson's Orphans, Nueva Esperanza (New Hope) and others through designated and undesignated donations.

About the founder:

• Andrew F. Liersch was elected and served as chairman of the boards of UVIRA Corporation, (a thin-film & laser technology firm), EIA Semiconductor Marketing and as an elected member of the boards of NPH International, NPH Guatemala, NPH in Germany, Goodwill International, Goodwill Santa Clara andWest Valley Community College.


• Andrew Liersch has held positions as CEO of UVIRA Corp., COO for NPHI operations in 7 countries, country director for NPH Guatemala,


• Andrew Liersch was also the President & CEO of Goodwill Santa Clara and President of his own companies; Olympus Health Products and Grey Eagle Farm.


• As a Semiconductor Industry executive, Andrew Liersch managed Marketing Services & Computer Systems for Motorola and EIA, directed Market Research & Business Planning for Fairchild and RCA, and headed-up Military Production for Signetics Corp.   


• In addition, Andrew Liersch taught entrepreneurship at the Thunderbird School of Global Management and served as annual guest speaker for graduating marketing classes at the University of Arizona.  

Andrew Liersch is a member of the U.S. Federal Technical Assistance Panel, served on the U.S. Department of Education RSA Region IX and Federal Projects with Industry Advisory boards and has completed consulting assignments for the U.S. Department of Education and the RSA Region IX Commissioner..
