A longtime resident of the Tampa Bay area, Andrea Sugden takes pride in the Florida city. Currently the senior vice president of national accounts for North America for Adecco in Tampa, she manages a significant portion of the global staffing company, while also utilizing her skills in sales and operations. Additionally, Andrea Sugden remains active with nonprofit organizations in the region by contributing to the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, Tampa Bay, and the Humane Society of Tampa Bay.
Before entering the staffing field, Sugden attended the University of Tampa for her undergraduate degree in finance and business management. After spending several years with Chase Bankcard Services/Chase Manhattan Bank in Tampa, she remained in the city by joining Spherion Corporation (formerly Norrell Services). Initially a customer service specialist, Andrea Sugden completed her tenure with the firm as its business development director. During this period, she earned the Customer Service Specialist of the Year Award, two Five Star Quality Awards, and a New Associate of the Year Award.
Subsequently, Sugden began dividing her time between the Tampa and Jacksonville offices of Manpower, Inc. After three years with the firm, she became regional director of Florida, managed 15 branch offices, and increased profitability by nearly 175 percent. Shortly before accepting the position with Adecco, Andrea Sugden served as director of employer/broker services with United Healthcare and tended to over 2,000 clients.
