About Ana Tzarev
In her art, Ana Tzarev captures moments in time in order to preserve them for future generations. As an artist of multiple talents, Ana Tzarev works in oils, watercolor, and sculpture to express her profound affinity for cultures of the world. Ana Tzarev has extensively studied the cultural history of the images she features in her artwork through personal encounters and study of local legends. Ana Tzarev’s paintings employ vivid colors, textured impasto-style painting, and focal images to convey her emotions at the moment that she encountered the paintings’ subjects. The paintings draw viewers into their moods, enabling them to vicariously feel the joy and passion Ana Tzarev puts into capturing her subjects. Ana Tzarev’s works are on display for the public in a Midtown Manhattan gallery, viewable on AnaTzarev.com. The Vietnam Fine Arts Museum also featured Ana Tzarev as the first Western artist invited for a solo exhibit that inspired her creation of a section of the Hanoi Ceramic Wall Project, a mosaic retaining wall running throughout the city. Ana Tzarev was humbled by the honor that reflects the respect she gained for Asian cultures through her travels and studies. Many of Ana Tzarev’s works are available to private and corporate collections, including original oils and watercolors, bronze casted and gilt bronze sculptures, and limited edition giclée prints that capture the stunning work of the originals. Ana Tzarev continues to work out of her New York City studio and travels the world in order to discover new subjects for her art.
