Collaborative Research Programme- International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (ICGEB) and Institute of Immunobiology and Human Genetics, Faculty of Medicine, Skopje, Macedonia
- HLA typing of unrelated healthy persons for class I HLA-A, -C, and –B and class II HLA-DRB1 and –DQB1 and data submission to allele frequency database (www.allelefrequencies.net);
- HLA genotyping of DNA blood related samples for Bone Marrow Transplantation (BMT), most of them for the Clinic of Hematology, Clinical Center, Faculty of Medicine, Skopje and for other transplantation centers in Macedonia and abroad;
- Association analysis of HLA-B27 alleles with M Bechterew and HLA-DQB1 alleles with Pulmonary Tuberculosis;
- Evaluation of allele and genotype ambiguities for HLA class I and HLA class II;
- Introduction and establishment of sequence specific primers (SSP) method for resolving HLA class II ambiguities in patients with Rheumatoid Arthritis.
