The mission of America SCORES Boston is to empower students in urban communities using soccer, writing, creative expression, and service-learning. With teamwork as the unifying value, America SCORES Boston inspires youth to lead healthy lifestyles, to be engaged students, and to become agents of change in their communities. Incorporated in Massachusetts in 1999 as the first affiliate of the national organization America SCORES, America SCORES Boston has grown to become the largest school-based after-school program in Boston, serving 21 Boston public schools with 44 gender-specific programs.
