Allison Staffin - Professional Summary: As the current assistant principal of Cherry Hill High School West, in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, Allison Staffin handles an array of administrative, developmental, and educational duties. In 1991, Staffin earned her Bachelor of Arts in History, with a concentration in Education, from Glassboro State College (now known as Rowan University), in Glassboro, New Jersey. In 1992, Allison Staffin began working as a secondary Social Studies teacher at Cherry Hill High School West. She continued her education at Thomas Edison State College, in Trenton, New Jersey, and in 2004, earned her Master of Science in Management, focusing on Leadership.
While earning her graduate degree, Allison Staffin served as a building operations and budget administrative intern at Cherry Hill High School West. Duties included the supervision of the custodial, grounds, and maintenance staff, in addition to maintaining the school’s building projects and work orders. Staffin also played a hand in the development of emergency evacuation procedures and the implementation of monthly maintenance plans.
In 2004, Staffin went on to become the assistant principal and World Language and Social Studies Supervisor. Three years later, Allison Staffin took on the role of Language Arts and Mathematics Supervisor. As a supervisor, Staffin focuses on academic advancements within each department by making decisions based on current testing data, conducting seminar meetings, planning examination assignments, and using the latest assessment protocols to assist educators. As an assistant principal, Allison Staffin is responsible for staff evaluations, coordinating staff meetings, in-service training, developing programs dealing with community services, character initiative, and more.
Allison Staffin holds certifications as a principal, supervisor, and a K-12 elementary and secondary Social Studies teacher in the state of New Jersey.

I am in charge of the curriculum for the building. I work with teachers in strengthing pedagogy and student achievement in the building. I help them design and implement curriculum. I host meetings within the building that promotes conversation about student achievement. I work with staff to disaggregate data and make decisions about their classrooms. I work with mentoring students and help them make decisions about their courses and schedules. I serve on many committees including: Professional Development- identifying specific opportunities that will continue to help improve staff involvement and sharing of their work. As well as provide in-service opportunities for staff. School Leadership- work with staff to find their professional voice. Help them organize and coordinate presentations for meetings and in-service days. School Scheduling meetings- helping to identify different schedule opportunities to help us move our curriculum and students to achieve even higher.
