Ali Eslami is a professional poker player, who currently lives in Los Angeles area. His most memorable appearance was at the Legends of Poker World Poker Tour Season 2 in 2003, where he won over $200,000 with more than 14 cash showings in the tournament play.
In June 2007, Ali Eslami took the 5th place in the 2007 World Series of Poker, 2,500$ H.O.R.S.E event, earning $42,612. Later, in the 2007 World Series of Poker Event, Eslami appeared with the fellow professional player Phil Laak and participated against Polaris, the University of Alberta poker bot. As of 2008, his total live tournament winnings exceed $290,000.
