About Alfred O. Bonati
Dr. Alfred Bonati relieves his patients’ neck and back pain with his advanced spinal surgery technique, The Bonati Procedures. Created as an alternative to failed open-back surgeries, Dr. Alfred Bonati patented The Bonati Procedures more than 20 years ago. Dr. Alfred Bonati’s outpatient treatment applies the use of YAG lasers to remove the pathology that causes pain in stage-by-stage processes. Dr. Alfred Bonati opened the Gulf Coast Orthopaedic Center for Special Arthroscopic Procedures of the Joints before founding The Bonati Institute. His medical career started in Spain, where Dr. Alfred Bonati earned his M.D. from the University of Seville. Dr. Alfred Bonati completed internships in hospitals in Maryland and Illinois and began his first residency at the University of Alabama. After wielding his Orthopaedic expertise at the Washington Hospital Center, Georgetown University Hospital, and Moses Cone Hospital, Dr. Alfred Bonati finished his residency at the Bowman Gray School of Medicine at Wake Forest University. Dr. Alfred Bonati trained in hand surgery, surgical and clinical management of scoliosis, micro-vascular re-implementation surgery, and general orthopaedics for children and adults.
