About Alfred Bonati
Background
Alfred O. Bonati, M.D. is a pioneer and leading expert of advanced laser spine surgery as the Founder and Chief Orthopedic Surgeon of The Bonati Institute located in Hudson, Florida. Dr. Bonati developed extensive comprehensive surgical solutions for problems of the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine. Dr. Bonati is the creator of The Bonati Procedures, a surgery successfully completed over 35,000 times, treating patients suffering from spinal stenosis, whiplash, herniated discs, foraminal narrowing, nerve compression, degenerative disc disease, and many other back and neck issues. Educational Background
Alfred Bonati began his medical studies at the University of Seville in Seville, Spain in 1963. He earned his M.D. in 1969 and spent the following four years fulfilling his medical internships at Suburban Hospital in Bethesda, Maryland, Franklin Square Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland, and Cook County General Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. Supplementing his extensive studies in the field of medicine, Alfred O. Bonati completed further medical training during residencies at the University of Alabama Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama; Washington Hospital Center in Washington, D.C.; Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.; and Bowman Gray School of Medicine, Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Today, Alfred Bonati, M.D. is a member of several key medical associations, including the International College of Surgeons in Orthopedic Surgery, the North American Spine Society, and the American Academy of Neurological and Orthopedic Surgeons. Alfred Bonati, M.D. has authored numerous articles on spine conditions, arthroscopic spine surgery, and the employment of laser technology in advanced spine surgery. Dr. Bonati has also authored the book, "No More Back Pain," and has conducted teaching presentations all over the globe on treating problems related to the spine using arthroscopic surgical techniques.
