About Alex Schendell

Currently, Alex Schendell serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the Harvest Group of Boston, a consulting and management service focusing on the international retail marketplace. As CEO, Alex Schendell utilizes his expertise to implement a wide range of professional services, from growth strategy to operational modeling and marketing to inventory control. Prior to founding the Harvest Group of Boston, Alex Schendell garnered international experience as the Chief Operations Officer of the Eldorado Company in Moscow, Russia. In this role, Alex Schendell established an operating model, as well as a high standard of customer service, to fit the consumer electronics company's 450 locations and 35,000 employees. In his efforts to maximize revenues and brand awareness, Alex Schendell drove Eldorado Company's annual sales from $4 billion to more than $6 billion in just two years.
In addition to his time with the Harvest Group of Boston and Eldorado Company, Alex Schendell worked in numerous capacities for Best Buy Co., Inc. for 10 years. A dedicated staff member, Alex Schendell relocated around the United States for Best Buy Co., Inc. several times, growing the company's market shares from 17 percent to 21 percent by emphasizing customer service and garnering nine promotions. After joining Best Buy Co., Inc. as an assistant store manager in 1996, Alex Schendell demonstrated his commitment to the company's mission and worked his way to the position of Vice President of Sales and Territory Manager.
Alex Schendell also holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of North Carolina.
