 Marketing and Partnership Team Management:
 Strategy definition and implementation, portfolio and product launch and lifecycle management;
 Partner sourcing and managing for the various business models (distribution, product integration, cross-selling)

 

Key Achievements: Consolidated Kanguru as the market leader for SMEs with a quota of 37%. Created and developed a partner network for vertical data services to enter new markets, launching one new Fleet Management Service. Diversified the traditional sales channel, by incorporating differentiated offerings (Laptop and software bundling with the traditional telecoms sales) and new partners for the financial operations.


2005-2007

Managed to achieve a Compound Aggregated Annual Growth of 3 digits during the period with significant EBITDA increase (several M€) and obtain an internal quota above 15% of SME distribution channel activity. Re-launched massive SMS services for SMEs and the first PDA direct e-mail push and GPS navigation services. Developed strategic product and distribution partnerships with local and international companies.

Key Achievements: Created a business area and achieved sustained sales activity, focusing the portfolio and building the distributions channels. Achieved breakeven by the end of first year. Launched the country's first laptop mobile internet access (Optimus PC Connection), PDA-phone (Optimus Personal Assistant), massive web-SMS service (SMS Pro) and Location Based Services (Geo SMS).


2000 - 2002
Portal Services Department Manager , Internet Business Unit
 Coordination of the Portal Services Department, responsible for definition, launch and management of web/WAP portal content services, Wireless-ASP e m-commerce for Mass Market and SME segment. Actively participated on offer definition of GPRS and UMTS and on UMTS bid.

 

Key Achievements: Launched the country's first fixed-mobile portal ("Neo"), mobile ATM, ringtones, mobile directory and JAVA mobile games. Also launched the world's first web/WAP/SMS chat service. Launched the country's first convergent business portal (Optimus Office) and vertical portals (Optimus Students).

 Project manager for the WAP launch, responsible for WAP gateway implementation and mobile internet services pre-launch. Actively participated on the design, development and launch of several fixed-mobile services for the Corporate and SME segments, including X.25 access, PABX integration and VPN

Key Achievements: Launched and managed the first Portuguese mobile ISP services via mobile dial-up, creating an additional revenue source for the company. Successfully made cross-selling campaigns with Telepac and peering agreements with the top 10 ISP's in the country.

 MarCom and Sales responsible for EMC, Metrology and Advanced Anemometry business areas, working 4 target markets: Graduate Education, Petrochem/Energy Heavy Industries, Telecom/Electrical/Certification Labs and Transportation.

 

Key Achievements:
Re-launched the UNOMAT brand in Portugal and created a national distribution network of 22 regional resellers, competing directly with the market leader (FLUKE). Tripled sales in two years, becoming market leader on portable calibrators.
Launched the calibration business area for the brands DRUCK and RUSKA, establishing them as reference brands and obtaining a 30% quota on the petrochem/energy market in 3 years.
Increased the Anemometry Sector sales for 200%/yr (YoY) during 3 years, having implemented the country's first Particle Image Velocimetry (FEUP)
