Alexander Rovt is a middle aged, simple yet dynamic personality, who now has a prominent place in ‘Forbes List’ of billionaires. Alexander Rovt was born in 1952 in a small town, Ukrainian of Mukachevo, where he did his schooling and later graduated from Lvov Institute of Trade & Economics.

Alexander Rovt - Employee to Employer

Alexander, he had his first vocation in selling jewelry. As the destiny is different, he could continue with his job only for a specified period, later he chose selling fertilizers. As a salesman, he was good at clinching deals for IBE Trade Corp. Over a period of 15 years, he showed significant progress in his career and became the president of IBE Trade. Statistically, today, the IBE Trade controls 12% of world’s ammonia supply and 6% of ammonium nitrate. Based at Brooklyn, Alex has clients globally. With an intention to grow, Alex started diversifying his business by investing in real estates. He has acquired 14 buildings in New York to expand his territory in real estate.

Rovt’s Roles

Apart from his business ventures, Alexander Rovt held positions related to food and agriculture in the Republic of Hungary before coming to America in 1985. He is a Trustee of Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center and a Member of the Small Business Advisory Board of the New York State Senate.

Alexander – A Philanthropist

Alex firmly believes that the extra zeroes in assets add more responsibilities to increase the boundaries of work and service. Obviously, the path to success for any businessman has tons of stories and challenges to overcome, and Alex is no exception. Alex Rovt donates generously to education, health, Brooklyn's Brook dale University Hospital and anything that has a noble cause. He also serves on NYC Board of Correction. Alex believes that service to humanity does not complete by issuing checks, more importantly, it demands personal efforts and participation sometimes.

The special report of Forbes, released on September 30, 2009 included the fertilizer tycoon, Alexander Rovt in the list of ‘The Forbes 400 richest Americans’. He ranks 326th with his assets showing a net worth value of $1,200 million despite the asset value showing a down trend mark of 25%.

Alexander – At Home

Alex’s has a small and knitted family, and lives with his wife and two children. He enjoys playing tennis and maintaining spas at leisure. Alex stays in touch with his friends, who were with him during tough times. Alex utilizes every opportunity to spend time with friends, calling it a meaningful relationship with them.
