Alday is a family owned winery intially part of the Montesquius group (founded in 1918), considered to be among the five oldest and most traditional cellars in the wine industry.

 Our cava and wine come from the carefully selected and hand-picked grapes from the region D.O. Penedès and given our commitment to natural winemaking through sustainable agriculture and using the knowledge coming from generations of wine producers, we have managed to create a unique product representative for "El País del Cava" (The country of Cava).

Our red wine comes from the carefully selected and hand-picked Tempranillo and Merlot grapes from the region and after fermenting in inox tanks at controlled temperature goes through 6-8 months of ageing in American oak barrels .

 The result is an intense fruity bouquet with spicy and vanilla, a sophisticated flavour with hints of violet and strawberry, good balance and a long dry finish - a wine with individuality, a fruit of the hard work of generations of winemakers.
