Living and working in the Salina, Kansas, area, Alan Eichelberger is an executive banker with more than three decades of professional experience. Throughout his career, Mr. Eichelberger has held a number of positions in various Kansas banks. Currently, Alan Eichelberger works as an executive for the First National Bank of Kansas in Burlington. Alan Eichelberger earned an Associate of Arts in Accounting and Economics from Hutchinson Junior College (now Hutchinson Community College) before attending Fort Hays State University, in Hays, Kansas, on a track scholarship. Mr. Eichelberger graduated in 1977 with a Bachelor of Science in Banking and Finance. Through the Kansas Bankers Association, Mr. Eichelberger went on to complete the Basic School of Banking in 1979 and the Intermediate School of Banking in 1980. Mr. Eichelberger continued to expand his skills through various professional training programs offered by the Kansas Bankers Association, the American Bankers Association, and Robert Morris Associates (now the Risk Management Association). Ultimately, he graduated from the American Bankers Association’s Graduate School of Banking in Madison, Wisconsin, in 1993, among the top 5% of his class.
In addition to his professional and personal responsibilities, Alan Eichelberger served as the Vice President of the Salina Board of Realtors and participated with the Salina Area Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Eichelberger is a member of Saint Mary’s Parish, and in his spare time, he enjoys hunting, fishing, and playing golf.
