In 1993, Senior Pastor Rick Stedman moved to Rocklin with his family. Stedman felt a calling to establish a church in the Roseville community, and began working with the Northern California Evangelistic Association in order to build what is now Adventure Christian Church. Stedman began by sitting behind a card table at a Wal-Mart, handing out a simple pamphlet called “How to Drug Proof Your Kids”. Soon, he was leading ministry groups four nights a week. Before long, a church was born, and the first service was held on Easter in 1994. Since then, Adventure Christian Church has grown into a large community reaching thousands of adults, children, and teenagers who come together to worship, pray, and participate in a myriad of activities and events.
Adventure Christian Church offers ministries divided into groups for young children, students, and adults. Children under age 12 are offered exciting, faith building programs in a fantastic, kid-friendly environment. Teens are served through Resonate Ministries, which includes concerts, summer trips, movies, activities, and mentoring sessions for young people in middle school, high school, and college. Adventure Christian Church’s adult ministries, separated into groups for men and women, provide powerful insight and help for today’s Christian adults, with services that include Bible study groups, seminars, lunch groups, and more. Senior citizens and couples' ministries are also available, which include services such as Fellowship, financial planning seminars, worship, and group outings.
Services, ministries, activities, worship, and events are provided by Adventure Christian Church several times each week. Adventure welcomes all individuals who want to congregate and rejoice in a Christian atmosphere.
