Advanced Cleanroom Microclean

With a Bachelor degree in Microbiology and an Associate degree in Business Administration from Oregon State University, Advanced Cleanroom Microclean Corp. founder Janet Ford has become a powerhouse in the cleanroom and clean work area industry. Ms. Ford began as a cleanroom sales representative and marketing specialist for A. J. Reynolds Company and quickly went on to form Advanced Cleanroom Microclean and later Protoclean, Inc., both offering a full range of cleanroom products and services to businesses in a variety of industries. In addition to Advanced Cleanroom Microclean and Protoclean, Janet Ford also started Ford Technologies, Inc., which develops and manufactures a variety of industrial-grade cleanroom agents such as detergent, hand soap, and glass cleaner.

An entrepreneur and leader in the cleanroom industry, Ms. Ford served as co-chair on an Institute of Environmental Sciences and Technology committee, and authored the draft for the Recommended Practice IES-RP-23 (currently IEST-RP-CC023), “Viable Particles in Cleanroom and Clean Work Areas.” Janet Ford has participated in a number of symposiums and seminars. She takes part in a United States Technical Advisory Group that examines the industry’s current ISO standards and recommends changes, where needed. While performing her duties as president of Advanced Cleanroom Microclean Corp. Janet Ford’s leadership style reflects a far-reaching knowledge of her industry with an active hand in the company’s everyday activities and practices.

The VIP Division of the National Association of Professional Women formally recognized Janet Ford as a 2010/2011 Executive and Professional Woman of the Year. Janet Ford donates to many worldwide charities, such as Kids of Kilimanjaro, the Marty Hennessy Jr. Tennis Foundation, the Santa Ana Zoo at Prentice Park, and the Patrick Kelley Youth Foundation. In addition, she sponsors the Suzanne Zale Buck Ovarian Cancer Fund as well as the Arthritis Foundation’s California Coast Classic bicycle tour.
