In addition to offering his services as a restaurant consultant, Adam Block owns and operates his own venture, Print Restaurant and the Press Lounge of New York City. Under Mr. Block’s leadership, Print Restaurant has distinguished itself through its dedication to local, organic ingredients that are grown within the region. The restaurant is located inside of Manhattan’s Ink48 hotel at the corner of 11th Avenue and 48th Street. 
Committed to offering only the highest quality ingredients, Adam Block became the first restauranteur to hire a full-time forager in a New York City restaurant. The forager’s only responsibility is to understand all of the ingredients that are currently available through local and regional sources and to bring the very best back to the restaurant. In order to showcase the results of this search, Mr. Block has also crafted menus that emphasize dishes made with the ingredients unique to each season. 
In addition to his work at Print Restaurant, Adam Block continues to assist other businesses as a restaurant consultant. He is the founding principal of Block & Associates, LLC, a consulting firm that he has led since the late 1980s. Offering a comprehensive set of industry services, including project development and feasibility studies, Block & Associates has successfully completed more than 1,200 different food and beverage related engagements. These extensive services have received widespread critical acclaim; Mr. Block has been hailed by the New York Times as a restaurant consultant “who can fit talent with golden opportunity.”

Print Restaurant & the Press Lounge

Adam Block is the Owner and Operator of Print Restaurant and the Press Lounge. Both Print and the Press Lounge are situated within the Ink48 Hotel located at 48th St. & 11th Ave. in Manhattan. Print is on the ground floor adjacent to the Hotel Lobby and the Press Lounge is on the 16th Floor rooftop with unobstructed views of Manhattan and the Hudson River. All ingredients used at Print Restaurant are seasonally sourced; to remain true to this vision, Print staffs a full-time forager that tracks down product from local farms and regional vendors to showcase on the menu. Print does more than bring the farm to the restaurant, it brings the best fare available that day, always inspired by the season. The cuisine appeals to locavores, evoking original flavors honed from around the world. In it's first year of operation Print was rated 25 by Zagat and listed in the Michelin Guide. The Press Lounge, rated in 2010 as the "Best New Rooftop Bar" in New York City by New York Magazine, and named one of the top 22 Rooftop Bars in the World by ABC News.com, is open to the public seven days a week. It has quickly become a popular destination for cocktails as well as private events.

Block & Associates LLC ("B&A") was established by Adam Block in 1987. Since the inception, as the founding principal of B&A, Block has been a consultant to more than 1,200 food and beverage related projects worldwide. In addition to restaurants, Block & Associates offers a wide a range of services to hoteliers; stadium, arena and recreation concessionaires; golf course operators; marina operators; developers; and public agencies. Services provided to Block & Associates’s clients include: Feasibility & Market Analysis; Lease Negotiations; Management Consulting; Strategic Planning; Development; Tenant Search; Litigation Support; and Asset Management. Most recently, Block completely revamped the food and beverage areas in Johannesburg's iconic Sandton Sun hotel. Similar to Block's concept for Print Restaurant, Block drew inspiration from South Africa and it resources, focusing on sustainability and the use of local products
