About Aaron Saffa
An experienced marketing and sales executive, Aaron Saffa currently serves as an Account Manager for Eastman Kodak Company in Los Angeles, California. Prior to joining the company, Aaron Saffa worked for several years in a variety of capacities with Encompass Media, Inc., a large and successful Los Angeles marketing firm. Saffa attended the University of California, Los Angeles, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. He has also completed workshops in both cinematography and record production at the University.
With a sustained interest in both filmmaking and music, Aaron Saffa has worked throughout his career in creative, dynamic enterprises. In his current role with Eastman Kodak, Saffa works with television commercial producers and filmmakers, discussing their need for traditional motion picture film and working to obtain and maintain sales of the product. In his first year as an Account Manager, Aaron Saffa brought in a number of new accounts to the motion picture film division, working against the current trend towards digital film production to maintain the market share for motion picture film. In addition to working with Eastman Kodak, Aaron Saffa has experience in the production and creative sides of filmmaking, including working first as a Production Manager/Coordinator and then as Head of Production for Bonfire Films between 1996 and 2000.
At Bonfire Films, Mr. Saffa organized all the details of music video production including negotiating with vendors and production on behalf of the company. From 2006 to 2008, Aaron Saffa served in a variety of roles at Encompass Media, Inc. He began as a Project Manager, coordinating large marketing campaigns for just over a year before earning a promotion to Director of Operations. In this position, he oversaw film operations and the implementation of several popular national marketing campaigns. During his time as Director of Operations, Saffa led programs with important clients, including Intel Corporation, Verizon Wireless, and MGM. In September 2007, Aaron Saffa moved up again to the role of Account Executive. He handled the acquisition of new business and management of client relationships, building the skills that he continues to employ in his current position with Eastman Kodak.
