As head of banks investment banking at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Aaron Packles manages transactions on behalf of banking industry clients. Building on a leadership position with the firm’s mergers and acquisitions group, he has consulted on high-profile transactions valued at $350 billion. Transactions he helped facilitate included Procter & Gamble’s acquisition of Gillette for $54 billion and Pfizer’s acquisition of Warner-Lambert for $112 billion. In his current position, Aaron Packles manages strategic advisory and capital raising functions. He has been integrally involved in helping the U.S. Treasury unwind its banking sector investments, which reflect actions during the Great Recession.
Mr. Packles holds an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, which he earned summa cum laude.
